Live Correspondent: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid expressed satisfaction over the peaceful holding of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations across the country today and said the exam results would be published by December 30.
Talking to journalists after visiting Dhanmondi Government Boys’ High School examination centre in the city, he said, this time most of the examinees have responded to the call to enter their respective halls 30 minutes before the exam time.
This has helped distribution of answer scripts and doing other related activities smoothly, he added.
The minister informed the journalists that all preparations have been taken for peaceful holding of JSC and JDC exams till November 17, Education Ministry Assistant Secretary Subodh Chanda Dhali told BSS.
The minister was accompanied by Education Secretary M Sohrab Hossain and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Prof. Mahbubur Rahman, among others.
A total of 24,12,775 students of 28,761 educational institutions are appearing for this year’s JSC and JDC examinations.
